paris and I never clicked

I spent 3 days in Paris, and all I shot was ONE roll ... Paris is an amazing city that has everything, good and bad, but I guess I was much more inspired to indulge in good cheese and wine than to shoot. But it's like that every time I'm there, I just never made a photo connection with the city. A friend of mine said it's because Paris is too nice and clean for my taste, but hell no friendo, first time I came to Paris, I took a train to Saint Denis, predominantly Arab and African neighborhood (that's where the movie LA HAINE takes place) ... and it was the same, I had coffee, mingled with the crowd a bit and shot NOTHING. naaah, whatever.
